Special Session 1: SAR high-fidelity Imaging and Target Electromagnetic Scattering Characterization

This session aims to bring together experts and scholars from both domestic and international communities to discuss cutting-edge advances and emerging trends in SAR imaging and electromagnetic scattering characterization. The focus will be on SAR-based target scattering extraction, including but not limited to moving target imaging, refocusing techniques, multi-resolution and multi-view fusion, stereoscopic SAR, 3D scattering reconstruction, and novel scattering representation methods. The goal is to foster theoretical innovation and practical implementations in high-fidelity SAR imaging and scattering feature extraction, ultimately enhancing target recognition and interpretation capabilities in complex scenarios. Through interdisciplinary dialogue and knowledge sharing, this session seeks to deepen the synergy between SAR imaging and electromagnetic scattering modeling, contributing new ideas and methodologies to the future development of intelligent SAR systems.

Related topics:
* SAR moving target imaging and refocusing
* Multi-resolution and multi-view SAR fusion
* Stereoscopic SAR and 3D imaging
* Electromagnetic scattering modeling and reconstruction
* Novel scattering descriptors and feature extraction
* Target characterization and recognition in SAR images

The manuscript should be submitted via the submission link (http://www.easychair.org/conferences/?conf=icsip2026), or to  icsip2016@vip.163.com before the submission deadline (March 5, 2026).
