2021 6th International Conference on Signal and Image Processing (ICSIP 2021) is held in Nanjing, China during October 22-24, 2021 successfully, sponsored by Southeast University, China and hosted by School of Cyber Science and Engineering Southeast University, China. Because of coronavirus, the conference is combied with offline and online this year.

All accepted papers have already published into conference proceedings by IEEE, archived by IEEE Xplore, and indexed by Ei Compendex and Scopus.

由东南大学主办, 东南大学网络空间安全学院承办的2021年第六届信号与图像处理国际会议 (ICSIP 2021)于 2021年10月22-24日，以线上&线下（南京）结合的形式圆满召开。本次会议旨在展示信号与图像处理领域相关领域的最新进展和研究成果，会议主题聚焦计算机视觉与图像处理，信号检测与估计，模式识别等多个领域，为世界各地的专家、学者、工程师和学生们提供一个高质量的交流平台，方便分享最新研究成果和经验并进行下一步的深入探讨。

10月23日，大会主席、东南大学网络空间安全学院程光教授(院长)出席大会并宣布2021年第六届信号与图像处理国际会议开幕。大会组织主席、陈立全教授主持了会议，大会联合主席、东南大学李冰教授，出席会议做TPC致辞。23日，中国南京大学周志华教授(Fellow of the ACM, AAAI, AAAS, IEEE, and recipient of the National Natural Science Award of China) 应邀发表主题演讲：Leveraging Unlabeled Data: From “learning” to “learning + reasoning”; 中国北京交通大学魏云超教授应邀发表主题演讲：Pixel Intelligence; 中国南京财经大学韩金广教授应邀发表主题演讲：Anonymous Single Sign-On With Proxy Re-Verification; 新加坡南洋理工大学林维斯教授(Fellow of IEEE, Fellow of IET, Chartered Engineer, and Honorary Fellow of SIET)应邀发表主题演讲：Characterizing Various Visual Signals for Human and Machine Users；中国国防科技大学朱家华副教授发表特邀演讲: Adaptive Background Normalization Algorithm for Noise Resilient in Time-frequency Map. 五位专家就如何让计算机从像素级理解图像/视频人脸图像; 将机器学习和逻辑推理结合起来的“学习 + 推理”解决方案; 新的匿名单点登录方案；视觉信号，自适应算法等方面的研究成果与大家分享。10月24日，新加坡南洋理工大学曾集丰教授(Fellow of IEEE and IET)应邀发表主题演讲: Hardware Root of Trust for Internet of Video Things; 日本东北大学Shinichiro Omachi教授发表发特邀演讲: Image and Video Compression Preserving Important Information for Humans; 中国西安电子科技大学许述文教授表发特邀演讲: Feature-based Detection Methods for Floating Targets on the Sea Surface。三位专家就视频物联网的硬件可信根; 图像和视频压缩; 新目标检测等方面的研究成果与大家分享。

本次大会共有设立了25个专题分会场(包含23日下午8个现场分会场(口头以及海报展示)+6个在线分会场，24日下午11个在线分会场)；与会代表分别就计算机视觉与图像处理、 数字图像处理与应用、 图像检测与应用、 图像识别与图像安全、 图像分类、 模式识别、 通信与信息系统、 数字图像与信号处理、目标检测、信号理论与编码、机器视觉与成像系统、通信与信号系统、未来通信及发展、雷达与信号处理等领域、共同探讨图象视觉计算及相关研究领域各方向的学术动态及发展趋势，就目前的热点问题展开研讨和交流。

Each parallel session went through smoothly and a “Best Presentation” award was issued at the end of sub-conference, with the support of session chairs.
